I'm still trying to find my groove after losing my cash cow. I wasn't ready to transition over to playing fulltime party poker when bodog went down... I've tried to make the move and it's not going too well. Party is such a grind for the roi i have there.

So, I've been trying out other places and other games. I've been playing a lot of heads up sit n gos on stars, as well as their turbo 9 man spins. Both have been going well. I'm up over 1k at stars and almost 1k at party. The money is good, but I still haven't found the game I'd like to concentrate all my efforts on.. I'd like to settle on that soon so I can master it and dedicate the remainder of the quest to 50k, to that game.

a kick to the balls

up until now, things have been going great, and bodog has been a big part of it. Yesterday, everything came to a crashing halt when bodog released their latest software upgrade. I don't feel like getting into the details.. just thinking about it pisses me off. I'll just say this - i've never really cared how good or bad a sites software is, as long as i can get used to it, multitable, and make my moves easily. The new bodog software is absolutely unplayable, literally (for me at least). I've heard from people who are able to play, that it's absolutely horrid.. multitabling is near impossible and sit n gos are taking almost twice as long to complete do to the slow interface.

small update

I'm 4 days in, but already missed a day in order to secure the rights to Tuesday's Wednesday. That just means I'll have to work extra hard this weekend to catch up.

Anyway, I've been focusing on Party sit n gos. Even though bodog is a lot easier for me to beat right now, it's more important for me to eventually be able to play all my spins on party due to their high vol. Things are going good so far. I hope to keep my roi where it's at or bump it up to the 40's and i'm not sure what's up with the # of 1st place finishes compared to 2nds... hope those percentages swap after a couple hundred.
